Fujifilm’s Biggest Worldwide Presence at the 2009 Cannes Film Festival (France)


imageFUJIFILM France S.A.S. (Fujifilm France) was present at the 62nd Cannes International Film Festival (May 13-24) in cooperation with FUJIFILM Corporation and Fujifilm European companies. It was a major success for Fujifilm in further expanding its market presence and effectively promoting its motion picture films.

This year Fujifilm set its sights on a new venue—the Hotel Martinez, near the famous Cannes Palace. For the occasion, the Suite des Oliviers was renamed “Fujifilm Terrace,” an incredible spot for our reception of cinema professionals.

Fujifilm teams hosted parties daily for professionals from the world of cinema in this unique setting, which quickly became known as “the place to be” in Cannes. Fujifilm France indeed created many connections there, and the new venue provided us with a positive global image. The Hotel Martinez allowed us to place two giant Fujifilm logo light panels right on the Croisette, which made a great impact.
